Assessment & Advocacy

Advocacy Program: One on one initial assessment is offered for case management with a view to identify immediate and long-term needs. We then assist the client to develop an individual action plan toward the client's goals and desired outcome toward self-sufficiency and stability. We help the client advocate for those services and resources they are seeking. Clients may be referred from the local business, church, civic or non-profit community.

Referrals to resources in the community in the areas of child care, health care, food and personal hygiene products, clothing and shoes, transportation assistance when available and other necessities.

Earn & Learn Opportunities

There are limited mini scholarships available for: Child Care Classes Food Safety Courses Basic Computer Skills Select tutoring assistance There are also employers in the community who offer tuition for college with employment and good wages. There are employers who provide on the job training in an "earn while you learn" environment.
